66th Death Anniversary of Quaid-e-Azam Tomorrow
ISLAMABAD, The 66th death anniversary of founder of Pakistan‚ Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah would be observed tomorrow across the country with reverence and honour
Numerous special ceremonies have been planned across the country. Different vital political leaders, government functionaries and social personages including governor and Chief Minister of Sindh will lay floral wreaths and offer Fateha at Quaid’s mausoleum .
Different sittings of Quranic recitation will be held countrywide including the one at the mausoleum of the Quaid in Karachi. Special prayers will be offered in mosques for the departed soul of the Quaid.
Ambassadors of many Muslim countries will join the Mehfil-i-Quran Khawani to be held at the Faisal Mosque to pay homage to the departed soul of the Founder of Pakistan Quaid-i-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah on his death anniversary .
The Quran Khawani congregation which the Nazriya Pakistan Council, Islamabad, has been holding for the last 20 years will be participated by the citizens of the twin-cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad and will be addressed by its Chairman, Mr. Zahid Malik.
The Quran Khawani will start soon after Asr prayer.
Several public and private organizations and educational institutions have also scheduled functions to highlight different aspects of the life of Quaid-e-Azam who united the Muslims of the Subcontinent for acquiring a separate homeland.
