Approval of PTI resignations will worsen crisis: Siraj
ISLAMABAD, October 21 (Online): Jamaat-e-Islami head Siraj ul Haq warned that political crisis could worsen if PTI’s resignations were approved.
Speaking to journalists on Tuesday, Haq said he has appealed to National Assembly Speaker not to accept the resignations. He said that PTI and PAT were ready to resume dialogue with the government. “The government should decide how it wants to deal with the leaders of sit-ins,” he said.
To a question, he said that pre-reform elections would be controversial and that there was possibility of mid-term elections. The JI Ameer ruled out the threat of imposition of martial law due to existing political crisis
