Government Decides To Resume Talks With PTI
ISLAMABAD, December 4 (Online): The government after a verbal brawl with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has decided to resume talks with it.
While talking to the reporters at his office, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar revealed on Thursday that the government has decided to resume talks with the protesting PTI. Earlier,
Earlier, Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has made contact with Interior Minister and discuss about the developments in this regard.
The minister told that despite serious allegations leveled against the government by the PTI leaders from their containers and their hostile behaviour, the government has decided to resume the dialogue process with the party.
Nisar further told that a report regarding the matter has also been sent to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif who is currently in London.
He informed the media that the government wants to hold dialouges with open heart as earlier it was the PTI that suspended the dialouge process no the government. He was of the opinion that leaders of protesting parties have different verisons while adressing at container and with the government representitives.
Chaudhary Nisar said the government decided to resume dialouge process despite the PTI leadership is regulalry giving confronting statements against the government.
It is vital to mention here that Opposition leader in the National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah had a meeting with Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif asking him to foramally resume talks with the PTI.
Shah said he talked with the Prime Minister who directed Finance Minister Ishaq Dar to resolve issues through dialogue.
