Multan, Sept 22 (Online): Disgruntled president of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Javed Hashmi Monday challenged Shah Mehmood Qureshi to contest by-election against him from NA-150, if the latter resigned from his constituency.



Addressing a press conference, Hashmi challenged Qureshi to resign and face him in the elections. He said it would be known soon that “who is ‘Daghi’ in the party”.

The Baghi leader said that Imran Khan has skipped the issue of Zahra’s murder in his speech to Karachi rally which was a crime.



PTI suspended President said that his statement regarding governor Punjab was misquoted in the media adding that he never said that Governor Punjab had participated in Qadri-Imran meeting in London.



He said Imran Khan is naďve but a truthful leader and is being used by some foolish persons for their own personal interest.



He said that Imran Khan was only hope for the new generation of the nation but PTI chief has spoiled himself being used by those elements.



He said Dharna type of politics spoiled PTI and its chief who had adopted a wrong way.



Hashmi said that whole team of former dictator Musharraf is standing by Imran Khan on his container adding that even dogs, the pets Imran has today belong to Musharraf.



The rebel leader said that he had advised Khan that he was being used by some elements but he did not listen to him.



He said that economy of the country has been suffering by these sit-ins.



Hashmi said that Imran had assured him that he would not announce disobedience movement but later on he did it to misguide the nation.



Hashmi threw an open challenge to PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi to contest by-election on National Assembly seat, NA-150.



The constituency was won by Qureshi in last year’s general elections. Qureshi last month reigned from his NA membership, however, the resignation is yet to be accepted by the Speaker.



Hashmi claimed that ‘technically’ NA-150 seat is vacant. He challenged Qureshi to contest election against him on the constituency.



Hashmi, who has parted ways with Imran Khan, also vowed to file his nomination papers tomorrow for by-polls on NA-149 (Multan II) vacated him following his resignation as MNA.
