Injustice Can Only Be Removed By Education – Malala
PESHAWAR, Nov 18 (Online): Nobel Peace Prize winner Malala Yousufzai has said that female literacy is important for the society’s development.
Malala Yousufzai, addressing a ceremony arranged by Mian Rashid Shaheed Foundation at Nishtar hall in her honor in Peshawar via videolink , said that change can only be brought in the country if people raise their voice for rights.
She also said that women are subject of torture in many countries of the world. She added that women were denied the right to vote but now they can cast their votes in elections.
“It is my wish that every child goes to school and have a book and pen in their hand”, she said.
Yousafzai said that country has to fight for children’s education as it is a basic need of everyone.
Malala stated that women should get their rights as they had been deprived of them since last 100 years.
While praising the capabilities of Awami National Party (ANP) leader Mian Iftekhar, she added that his son was martyred but he never left the right way.
Moreover, students also performed many plays and skits in the event.
