Laptops distributed among students Chakwal University

Chakwal, October 30 (Online): Some 1,832 laptops have been distributed among the intelligent students of colleges and schools of district Chakwal on the direction of Chief Minister Punjab Mian Shahbaz Sharif.

The male and female students of metric 2013, B.S, MA and MSc who got more than 78% marks were declared successful for laptops.

Special assistant to Chief Minister Punjab Malik Saleem Iqbal was the chief guest on this occasion.

Member of National Assembly (MNA) begum Iffat Liaqat, Member of Provincial Assembly (MPA) Mehwish Sultana, DCO Asif Bilal Lodhi, DPO Moeen Masood, director colleges Rawalpindi division Humayun Iqbal, Deputy Director Colleges Nasir Mehmood Awan and principal Girls College for women Munaza Sheikh were also present on the occasion.

The parents of the successful students also attended this function. Speaking on this occasion Malik Saleem Iqbal told that Punjab government is providing billion of rupees for quality education as the use of computer rand technology is the need of the hours and if we have to compete with other countries then our new generation must have to learn the technology.

MNA Begum Iffat Liaqat congratulated the students who won the laptops.

DCO Chakwal was of the view that due to good efforts by these students which forced Punjab government to acknowledge the brilliance of them.

Principal Munaza sheikh in her welcome address told that due to the efforts of Punjab government the standard of education have been improved.

The laptops were also distributed at govt. post graduate college Chakwal.
