Mobile Phone Service To Be Partially Blocked in Lahore
LAHORE, August 08 (Online): Mobile phone services will be partially blocked in the provincial capital of Punjab on Saturday.
Mobile phone services will be suspended in Model Town and surrounding areas for 24 hours.
The decision was taken during a PML-N meeting chaired by Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif which finalised security arrangements for the Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Youm-e-Shuda scheduled for August 10.
The provincial government has also made a decision to vacate the grounds surrounding the Minhaj-ul-Quran Secretariat.
