No contact between Taliban govt committees -Shah
Peshawar, May 3 (Online): A member of Taliban negotiating committee, Maulana Yousuf Shah, said on Sunday that there had been no contact between the Taliban and government committees.
Talking to media here, Shah said that one of the members of the government committee had gone with the PM on the UK visit.
"Talks are expected to be resumed in next two-three days", he hoped.
Earlier on Saturday, Yousuf shah has said that Taliban given a list of 765 noncombatant prisoners they want to be released.
He said that military operation was not a solution to the problem.
“What was the outcome of engaging the war machine in those areas for the last 12 years? None of the tribal region was 'cleared' ever”, said he.
Shah added that the advocates of military action were actually the enemies of the people of Pakistan.
