Pak, Saudi Govts To Sign Agreement On 2015 Hajj
Islamabad, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia governments will sign an agreement on the arrangements of 2015 Hajj this month in Makkah.
In this connection, a delegation led by Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf will visit Saudi Arabia.
The delegation will comprise Federal Religious Affairs Secretary Amir Sohail, Joint Secretary Muhammad Farooq, Central Chairman of Pakistan Hajj Organizers Association Haji Maqbool Ahmed and other high officials.
Muhammad Yousaf will announce new Hajj policy in the last week of February.
Twenty per cent foreigners whereas 50 per cent domestic people have been deducted in the proposed estimated figure of people performing Hajj this year due to the ongoing extension of Haramain.
According to which, 140,000 people from Pakistan will be performing Hajj; 70,000 will be going through private and 70,000 through government scheme.
