The scope of different free education programs of Punjab Education Foundation was being extended further to accommodate more deserving children in the fold of PEF as well as to achieve the targets of
school enrollment drive of the Punjab Government.
This was stated by Chairman Punjab Education Foundation Engineer Qamar ul Islam Raja in a statement issued here today. The PEF Chairman said
that Punjab School Reforms Programs is yielding positive results for the betterment of the education sector, adding that targets have been set to enroll every child in Punjab by the year 2018.
He further said that Punjab Government is fully committed to the cause of education as it helps promote a tolerant and forward-looking society.
Qamar ul Islam appreciated the fact that 18 points new roadmap program is being implemented to develop an educated society and maintained that this would be the biggest service to the nation.
He maintained that besides promotion of free education for the needy, Punjab Education Foundation has also strengthened the private schools through its teachers training programs.
These programs are aimed at improving the professional skills of the teachers so that the students of low-cost schools could enjoy
As a result of concerted efforts put forth by the foundation, the children of disadvantageous communities are now enjoying free quality education and this would change their destiny, concluded the PEF Chairman.
