Peshawar blast leaves 6 people hurt
Peshawar, May 10 (Online): Six persons were injured when a blast occurred near Kohati Gate in Peshawar on Saturday, officials said.
Initial reports suggested that a hand grenade was hurled that caused the blast and injured six persons. A house of local trader was also damaged due to the impact.
Police have cordoned off the area while rescue teams were kicked off the relief efforts and wounded people were shifted to Lady Reading hospital for treatment.
Blast also damaged nearby buildings and broken window glasses in the area, this was same area where a Church was targeted by terrorists last year.
Peshawar has been witnessing wave of terrorism since years where hundreds people and security forces personnel have been lost their lives.
