PTI never closed doors to talks: Qureshi
MULTAN, November 1 (Online): In response to the government’s offer for talks, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mehmood Qureshi Saturday said that his party never closed its doors to negotiations.
“Imran Khan is not creating hurdles for talks,” Qureshi said while talking to media at a protest camp of OGDCL employees. He claimed that PTI did not quit talks but it was the government which left the negotiation table.
“The government didn’t contact after last sitting. Ishaq Dar had left to take approval from the prime minister,” the PTI senior leader said.
Earlier, Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid renewed a call for dialogue with the PTI for resolution of prevailing political confrontation.
