Rulers to face ‘historic defeat’ tonight: Rashid
ISLAMABAD, Sept 13 , Sheikh Rahid Ahmed, an outspoken politician and PTI’s ally, said Saturday that the rulers would face an ‘historic defeat’ tonight.
Ahmed came hard on the government for a massive crackdown on PTI and arrest of its hundreds of workers ahead of One-Nation celebrations announced by PTI to mark the completion of one month of its sit-in in Islamabad.
He said that the government has exposed itself by enforcing section 144, which a draconian law of the British era.
“They are frightened,” he said, adding such tactics by the government would incite violence.
